Financial Analyst - Our client, a major business group in DUBAI, requires a Financial Analyst with 5 - 8 years experience in a similar position (UAE/GCC experience preferable). He must have a Graduate / Postgraduate Specialization in Accounts / Finance. He will be responsible for all activities pertaining to Accounting in a Corporate Finance Department. Job Responsibilities: To assist in the analysis of financial data and extracts and define relevant information, interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and / or to project a financial feasibility. To review costs and perform cost benefit analysis related to projects and / or programs. To perform statistical, cost and financial analysis of data reported in the various financial systems. To develop financial reports for forecasting, trending and results analysis. To record, classify and summarize Financial Transactions / Events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. To interpret Financial Transactions / Events for end users towards decision making. To apply a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, verify documents for completeness and compliance with government. To use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages and graphic packages to assemble, manipulate and / or format data and / or reports.
